Oh my goodness it had been forever since I’ve blogged. Now living in Denver has been such huge change for us and mostly for the best! Our new home has been quite the adjustment from Colorado Springs being in the Big City and all. It’s still Colorado though and we’re okay with that! I had been taking some time off during my second pregnancy. Photographing the Pardo family was my second session I’ve taken on not including the weddings I’ve photographed – since I found out we were expecting.
And oh my goodness with the last minute changes! For the location we had to do for this sweet family was beyond worth the drive to Colorado Springs. Seeing Garden of the Gods was just peaceful and relaxing to me. Even though we got hit with some intense rain during their session. Amber and her family were such troopers taking on the rain! Once the rain had slowly began to go away we went for it and started snapping photos while there was some sun left! It turned out so beautifully even with the first family shot here is when it was still raining!! Can you believe that?! No one would ever have known it was raining unless you asked us.
These beautiful views of Pikes peak and Garden of the Gods was extremely breathtaking and I’m so honored to have photographed Amber’s family given all the crazy weather circumstances. Sometimes you just got to roll with the punches, for a session or just in Life in general. Either way it’s been worth it. I love my job and even though I’m not taking on too many sessions this fall/winter season. I’m happy with being able to have a creative outlet as our own family grows.
